7134 elderly smiles challenge
2016-05-21

The Avicenna peak (also known as Lenin peak or Ibn Sina peak) rises to 7,134 metres (23,406 ft) in Gorno-Badakhshan (GBAO) on the border of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. It is the highest mountain in the Trans-Alay Range of Central Asia, and in the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan it is exceeded only by Ismoil Somoni Peak (7,495 m)

A group of 4 high altitude mountaineers from Lithuania including Marius Ciuzelis, the co-Founder and the Manager at MC Charity Foundaiton, decided to take the challenge to climb the mountain and raise 7134 Eur (1 Eur for 1 meter) for the newly launched befriending and support line „Sidabrinė linija“ (Silver line) for lonely and forgotten elderly people in Lithuania.

We believe everyone deserves a life worth living and launching the „Sidabrinė linija“ we want to give them a word and a smile. Sometimes a single word can change your day or the entire life!

We have never climbed the mountain that high - support us and help us to reach the summit!
